Prior Notifications

Prior notifications are communications made between a developer and the planning authority of a proposal that will be made under permitted development. These are submitted before permitted development rights are exercised to determine whether prior approval is required before works can commence. It is often required for applications involving farms or forestry and demolition works as opposed to residential dwellings.

This type of correspondence is not the same as a planning application so if you are in doubt about whether you require a prior notification, contact us today.
